Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Series Experiencing with MomoFrank ~ Session 1
My first session of Cranio Sacral Therapy was very relaxing and replenishing to say the least. Lately, I've been having difficulty shutting my brain off when I go to sleep due to the stress I've been struggling with. I've been sleeping very light, waking up several times during the night, and not being able to go back to sleep for hours sometimes.
So when the session started, I tried to focus on my breathing instead of letting my brain take off with the train of thoughts.
At first, I was aware of a little pain with my right thigh, where I sometimes get pain due to my sciatica. But soon after Coko put her hands underneath my back, pain disappeared. I started feel as if my body was sinking into a deep ocean... I could tell that my body was starting to relax on a much deeper level. All the tension I was unconsciously holding started to dissipate.
When Coko put her hands underneath my head, that's when I started to feel this wave-like sensation within my body. Soon after I sensed this wave, I started to doze off into the most relaxing deep sleep I've had in a while.
My consciousness surfaced few times during this deep sleep because of my own snoring sound but the deep relaxation and sleep continued until the end of the session.
After the session, I felt like I just had a solid 8 hours sleep. I felt so replenished as if my drained out battery got charged or something. Walking home, I was feeling a little tired, as if I just worked out in a gym. And when I got home, I was exhausted.
But because of this exhaustion, I was able to fall asleep fast and deep that night. I only woke up twice during the night and I could fall back into sleep right away. On the side note, I did have two very vivid dreams. One was a bit nightmarish and the other one that followed wasn't. I don't know if it has anything to do with the session, but maybe I was able to access my subconscious during my sleep because I was able to truly relax earlier...? I'm so looking forward to my next session! Thank you, Coko.
